Concrete Batcher

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, switched-on Plant Operator / Batcher to join a fast-paced concrete plant. This is a dual-responsibility role where you will split your time between operating the batching computer and jumping into the front-end loader.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Batching: Operating computerized batching software to mix concrete to exact specifications.

• Loader Operation: Utilizing a front-end loader to shift aggregates and keep the plant hoppers fully fed and operational.

• Plant Maintenance: Performing basic mechanical upkeep, daily pre-starts, and keeping the site clean and safe.

• Truck Coordination: Assisting with truck sequencing and ensuring drivers are loaded safely and efficiently.

What You Need to Apply:

• Loader Ticket (LL) + Proven Experience: You must be highly confident and experienced behind the controls of a front-end loader.

• White Card: Current Construction Induction Card.

• Physical Fitness: This is a hands-on role that requires lifting, climbing, and active yard work.

• Medical & Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and a clear drug/alcohol screening.

• Reliability: Early morning starts are standard in concrete. You must have your own reliable transport.

(Note: Prior concrete batching experience is highly regarded, but full software training will be provided for candidates with the right loader experience and attitude!)
